I can't stand how much I love this series, it's so freaking dope!!

This has kept my attention since it's beginning and done excellently still, not many series (especially long ones) has kept me addicted and overly satisfied as this beautiful story has!! At the same time I feel unfulfilled but not in a negative way, just that I anticipate impatiently each episode before I even press play on the current episode aha. I feel heartbroken everytime I hear the ED song, but then joyful hearing it, as confusing as this all sounds.

They have done a superb job with this potential masterpiece, excellent quality that rarely downgrades, the story/plot flows so wonderfully together, this is truly art, so masterfully done. You can tell they carefully craft each episode with the utmost care, trying for perfection, like a painter painting a painting with careful brush strokes, each equaling a episode, until its completion. A colorful, picture unfolding and showing the whole life of the MC right before our eyes with a magical paintbrush, being led on this long, exciting journey with the MC is almost unexplainable. Like drinking cold icy water in the morning, nourishing your body feeling the tingles throughout as you inhale cold air in your nostrils feeling it down your throat and exhaling serenely. I could go on and on but y'all get the point lol, if you're not amongst the ones who has viewed this graceful series, then I feel sorrowful for you, not witnessing and experiencing such beauty, oh how unlucky you are, as it blesses me each week with new sights to explore smh.

Much of this credit goes to the studio lol
While the novel is quite solid and is reminiscent of the classical Wuxia (Martial Arts Heroes) novels, it is also considered boring when compared with current cultivation novels, but the studio did a fantastic job. I cant wait until their other works comes out.

For reals, I've gone through the novel a couple times and this adaptation is awesome.

After reading this conversation I went and started it, oh my gosh sooo good, been on a marathon with it lol. Not quite as good as untamed, but what a great show. This is why I appreciate your discussions, but it feels kinda off to benefit without saying thanks - so thank you!

nice bro glad to hear it!

Try Sword Snow Stride and Joy of Life, pretty popular live-drama :) Both are adaptions of novels and both dont follow the novel closely LOL, unlike The Untamed which followed the novel more or less

Han Li knows how to handle these females though. They are always out here trying to cause problems with their selfish requests and lovey dovey stuff.

The scene where the opposing sides stood before each other(before the battle begins) was grand. The battle itself was just beyond amazing and everything(animation) seems to have been done meticulously.

Do Min Jooshi • 1 year ago

He knows how to skate off these issues lol

Pha Yang • 1 year ago

Yo, girl says "let's elope" hanli says "you want freedom".... I bet he still tasting nangong wan after all these years, so far.. he's rejected two girls at this point.

And yes! The war has officially begun, was expecting this three months ago instead of the capital arc.

Winteriscoming • 1 year ago

Chen Qiaoqian and Han Li seeks freedom. But due to their birth and personality difference, the freedom they seek are two completely different things which leads to the unfortunate result we see.

Nangong Wan, the defacto FeMC of this novel (who has exceedingly low presence) is able to make her way into his heart because both of them pursue the same freedom in their Cultivation. Even though Nangong Wan's challenges is similar to Chen Qiaoqian, albeit, Nangong Wan's case is more of she's super talented that's why she's facing all these shit while Chen Qiaoqian is simply because she's her father's daughter.

Also Nangong Wan has a better understanding of Han Li's personality, so she wins in the end much to the horror of the many fans of other girls.

Winteriscoming • 1 year ago

Eh... the war has started long ago, this is basically the final battle.

RohanOf ElvenPower • 1 year ago

what is nangong wan?

The impression I got from that conversation is that she is saying her feelings and listening to her, he realized that she seeks freedom from her family and the struggles of war in the cultivation world, not necessarily himself, Han Li.

Pha Yang • 1 year ago

Correct, she was pushed to a point where she becomes desperate whether or not she has feelings for han shi di, more likely she feels grateful for all the rescues.
Nan gong wan is that core formation lady when han li first tried out to test his spirit root, just to find out his spirit root is very mixed. Then later they had dirty dirty in the secret realm, and han li promised to protect her just to have her rebuttal "protect me? You're not even foundation establishment"

fujohohoe • 1 year ago

nangong wan was that nascent soul user (i think) he accidentally had sexual interaction (prolly in s1)

RohanOf ElvenPower • 1 year ago

Is she the one that got drugged by that arrogant dude back in season 1 in the forest. He planned to rape her but got found by han li. We later see that arrogant guy was part of the secret kings faction in season 3.

Pha Yang • 1 year ago

Elope girl "senior chen" is the one that got drugged by the bully. I believe she actually looked down on han shi di at one point. The bully was killed off and han li got his pill back.

RohanOf ElvenPower • 1 year ago

that bully back then was killed off? Wasnt he forced to back off? I was pretty sure one of the henchmen of the evil king in the previous season was one of the arrogant guys he met in that secret cultivators town/village/festival/yearly gathering/whatever it was right back in like season 1 when he escaped and we found out about the spiritual roots...and they tested everyones at that secret gathering in the tower.

While it is true that Han Li has rescued (Senior Sister) Chen Qiaoqian several times and she is overwhelmed by that - my impression from reading the novel is that she does truly love him. Several women actually love Han Li but his heart is only for Nangong Wan. However Nangong Wan doesn't actually love him back at the moment. It seems to me that she is going to give him a one in a million chance (like Dumb & Dumber) to try to become a person who can protect her, mainly because he is the guy she accidentally lost her virginity to. I don't think she was actually expecting much from him, but he has surprised her a bit, not too much...just some. He also rather heroically fought together with her against the Jiao in the secret realm when the two of them nearly died.

Winteriscoming • 1 year ago

The Amnesia pills Han Li gave her only works for Chi Refinement Cultivators. Once she breaks through to Foundation Early Stage, it's only a matter of time before she remembers. Hell, considering the pill probably won't work on any Foundation Early Stage Nubs

She probably remembered after breaking through successfully. Chen Qiaoqian actually knows that it is impossible between them and this meeting, confession and departure is just an attempt to put this love to an end.

Too bad, she was willing to respect Han Li's wishes because she is the second most understanding of Han Li, but she cannot let go of him and be alone until she died.

The next time they meet, she has reincarnated into another species and only thought its weird that this Human Cultivator was looking at her so much.

Thanks for the heads up, been loving this donghua that i don't want to read the novel. Completed the novels of BTTH, snow eagle lord, return of valkerie, and all of the Dalu Duoluo series. TBH the artworks shows a side that I enjoyed but the pace and the things are handled leaves a bad taste on those donghuas.

OfficialDrixMalone • 1 year ago

Loving it!!

Been through kinda similar thing as han li with few females and yes you just silent when they do something is the most effective rejection..they’ll embarrass and stop their action..hug,kiss etc. and about “find what you want” “ let be happy” now one of the girl ended with my brother LOL since we sibling have something in common which is caring to evryone😂

Xiao Tsung Li • 1 year ago

i could relate as well its not that you don't care about them its just you don't have kind of feelings that have ...an so just being cold in the right moment allows them to understand on there own that it wont work out...But i also know what it's like for Han Li to like the one who is the most difficult to be with in his case im talkin about the masked girl he saved an then had sex with especially the way she plays games and hard to get yet you know they have feelings just seems to draw you in like a fishing line or a spiders web 🤣

anyone have any good donghua to recommend beside this?

"Hopefully one day you get what you want"

Obviously he is what she wants, so unless he somehow just doesn't get that (although I'm pretty positive it's shown multiple times in the past that he does) than it makes that a kind of dick statement by him, even if it wasn't actually said directly to her...

Feer Rubrix • 1 year ago

Well yes and No. The main goal she wanted is Freedom.
